A baby, weighing 13.4 pounds and 57cm long, has been born naturally (Without C-Section).

Jasleen, a baby girl, was born at University Hospital in Leipzig, Germany, on July 26, making her the country's largest-ever.

Jasleen's mother was found to have an undiagnosed case of gestational diabetes, a condition which normally occurs around the 24th week of pregnancy and can lead to a larger-than-normal newborn.

Doctors said that the mother and daughter are well after the birth, with Jasleen remaining in the neonatal care unit, doctors said, German magazine Der Spiegel reported.

Stephen Lyttle, who tipped the scales at 16lb 5oz when born at Kempsey Hospital on January 26, 1963, is Australia's heaviest. The average weight of an Australian baby is 3.37kg, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

The Guinness Book of World Records states the heaviest baby born was to Anna Bates, of Canada, in 1879. The 7'5" mother and her 7'11" husband welcomed a 23lb 12oz. baby boy, who died 11 hours later. ( CULLED FROM NEW YORK POST)

THE federal government has responded with near adequate conviction, the pressure by Western countries to impose the perverted culture of legalising homosexual lifestyles in Nigeria.

The two arms of the National Assembly have taken uncompromising stands, making a law prescribing a fourteen-year jail term for people caught, tried and sentenced for practising homosexual acts in Nigeria. Our President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, has also made it clear that he would align with the feelings of the Nigerian people and its supreme legislature in ensuring that the law is implemented.

We are, however, worried at the half-heartedness with which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is handling the matter. The Minister, Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru, while recently re-iterating Nigeria’s decision not to succumb to pressures from the West on this vexatious issue, however opened some windows of possibility and prospects for homosexuality in Nigeria.

First, he begged the West to be patient with Nigeria and allow this lifestyle to take root here and be accepted by the Nigerian people before it would be given a free rein. Second, he conceded that Nigeria would accept gay diplomats to serve in this country.

Our rejection of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) nonsense is total and unequivocal. It is rooted in our cultural, religious and social values as a people. It is taboo, abominable and repulsive. Therefore, we cannot afford to allow the moral fabric of our society to be so degraded by foreign cultures and pressures as to allow these evil acts to become acceptable here some time in the future.

We must also not allow countries that have accepted them to export their gay citizens to Nigeria and use their diplomatic cover to practise it here.

Since our people have chosen to shun gay lifestyle here, we must be uncompromising about it because the reasons adduced are cogent. Homosexualism is a virus that degrades the family and its values, corrupts human cohabitation and offends God. It eventually leads to social decline.

We are a country on the rise to our manifest destiny as Africa’s example to the world. We must get there with our values intact as every great society attempts to do.

The West will never allow a person who is a confirmed paedophile, for example, to work in their country even as a diplomat. If the West cannot be allowed to send such perverts to Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran, why should they be allowed here?

We say no to gay diplomats in Nigeria. Part of the screening we must conduct before accrediting diplomats to represent their countries here should include checking their sexuality record. We say no, and we mean no!

Even though, ikem has been away from the screen for 3 years, his name and face still leaves a remarkable impression. He has featured in so many home-videos. The Nollywood star has made a come back from a set back and he is crowning with his just concluded wedding. fast rising blogger neduzy sign had the rare chance of interviewing the actor who just covered the latest edition of the unwind magazine and he had this to say.

How have your life changed now that you are a national symbol?

Ikem chude: Naturally, i've always been a simple, Godly, giving, gentle, humble, kind, joyful, peaceful, loving and a caring person. i'm a reformer. í am born for this.

Been a national symbol will automatically force any reasonable person to act exemplarly as a role model and a good ambassador. just like asking a fish born in the aquarium how it feels in the ocean.

There's a price to also to pay, people may misunderstand you and expectations will be high from the society. This is were some foolish people loose their sense of purpose in order to impress the people instead of pursuing their destiny.

Let's do the work for positive change in our society not for egocentric interest, God pays better than men, but thourgh MEN.

Question: What qualities of yours have kept you going and have stood you out of the crowd?

answer:  Just as i mentioned previously, i'm sacrificial. i go out of my way to help anyone that needs help. GOD strategically positioned us to be a solution to somebody's problem. we all need help in one way or the other so we ought to help, but don't expect the people you help to appreciate or reward you, only God can reward you. 

Mind you, if you refused to be a solution you''ll definetly be a victim or problem candidate''. so choose wisely

Question: Where have you been?

Ikem chude: i've not really been active for 3years plus. for almost a year i faced blindess. had 4 surgeries, doctors told me they can't help me and was counselling me to accept blindness but i refused because i'm a BELIEVER. it was like hell. i lost everything while looking for help. while blind, i refused to accept or confess with my mouth that i was blind, not to my family, friends, colleagues, producers and my ex fiancee who i lost as a result. i lived and faced that dark world until i had an unforgettable encounter with GOD through the ministry of GOD''S amazing servant Rev Dr Sign Fireman. with just a word, ''JESUS''! i saw clearly than i've ever seen in my life.

Question: What happened next?

Answer: since then i dedicated my life to serving God. i was ordained as a pastor in the ministry of Dr Fireman(power headquarters) on, oct 2011. so far, i have pastored 3 branches of the church here in lagos.

Question: what new movies are we expecting to see you on shortly?

Now, i'm fully back into movies, and well seasoned. i have about 6 scripts now from different movie producers on my desk but i'll choose 2 because of their quality i'm also working on shooting my first movie

it hursts when fans ask you''where have you been? we love your movies! you're one of my favourite actors! i missed you on screebn!. it breaks and shatters me. sometimes i shed tears but i have to be focused because emotions is not a fruit of the spirit.

AN ORDEAL!!!

Someone found out that i was now a pastor, he was mad at me and confronted me while i was on evangelism. he said, '' don't allow them to decieve you, i love your movies. you are a good actor, can't you see you are sufferring?

I came close to him and told him how i left because i was blind and how God healed me. he was shocked. Then i told i'm better as a minister than as an actor, because the actor can only entertain him for minutes/hours then the landlord will knock on the door to throw him out of his house for rent not paid. but the minister can change your life, health wise, finacial wise, etc and you''ll still be entertained with an everlasting joy not temporal happiness. Many people meet me ''the actor but the minister in me end up changing them''. That's my joy, because i can fulfill my destiny while having fun(acting/relating with people), meanwhile movie is still ministry just like music. i love acting, i can't deny it, i love camera, i love my family, i love my colleagues, love my fans but i love God and his work more. Mind you, the work of God is all about serving the people of God. we all are GOD'S people and movies is one way to serve.

i just wonder if this was really an interview. its one thing to be unemployed, its another thing to be greedy
